RCPsych project

It’s really good to see this completed project for RCPsych (The Royal College of Psychiatrists). I’ve been working with BSI experts and the RCPsych team to reduce a large number of standards to two sets – in-patient care and community care. It’s been a complex project involving a lot of conceptual thinking. The streamlined set has removed duplication, making it much easier for providers to implement and for auditors to assess, It’s also helped to highlight areas of common practice and areas of key differences between the various mental health specialisms such as perinatal care and the care of young people.
