Copywriting
Copywriting for RasGas (Qatar), one of the world’s largest producers of natural gas. My brief was to tell the story of the $10.4bn Barzan Gas Project, to promote their project management capabilities to global clients. Working with The Point’s team, I planned the structure and content of the book. In Doha I interviewed Qatari engineers, project managers, legal experts and many more, to draw out their experiences of this vast project. I also researched the huge RasGas archive, covering twenty years of major projects. The commemorative book – 166+pages – designed by The Point, celebrates the project’s journey from project concept to completion. Postscript: in an unexpected twist to the tale, RasGas merged with QatarGas during 2017, and the book remains unfinished.
